ROBLOX GAME PROJECT OMNI AEGIS
Hey good looking Dudes and Dudettes,
I'm back with a new game project. This time I'm making a game on Roblox and for now I'll name it project Omni Aegis.
Since I'm in my second semester of my first Information Communication Technology degree year I am gonna apply the things I learnt in my first year to make this game. So last year I've taken up Introduction to Software Engineering where I learnt the fundamental with the Software Development Life Cycle, methodology etc. So I'm gonna go step by step in making this game and document it well. It might be tedious but it all good in the long run. And yes, I am making this game by myself.
As for now I'm just write down the basic game concept, then later down the line I will come up with an inner story or what not.
GAME CONCEPT
So the concept is simple, players are spawn on the map and are given a weapon(to be decide what type) and their job is defend themselves and a certain target from a wave of monster. A round will last around a minute and the round will end either if the target is destroyed/ killed or if the time runs out of time. I did though of giving players life( like 3 time you die and you need to wait for next round) but we'll see about that. As each round progresses, the intensity will increase either by making the monster stronger or increasing the number of monster to be spawn or both.
Simple, Right? Maybe you think its too simple. But for now lets keep it like that. My main goal here is to make the game playable with at least one map. With all the weapon, basic database and map all set. I'll launch it in alpha. Then I'll add more things. Like shop, animation, story line and so forth.
This game is actually inspired by a ROBLOX HALLOW EVE game event a few years back and I'm making it since lately ROBLOX is packed with Simulation game and some of the old good game is slowly disappearing. So yeah till next post.
